How does Maatram reduce screen time?

Maatram puts friction between you and distracting apps. The App Gate makes you wait and pay a points toll before opening social media, Hard Lock blocks chosen apps for 5 to 90 minutes, and focus timers plus study rooms reward the time you spend off your phone.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can use the timers, App Gate and screen-time stats without signing in. Signing in with Google only syncs your points and streaks across devices and puts you on the leaderboard.

Where is my screen-time data stored?

Day-by-day usage data is stored locally in your own browser. Only your productivity points and profile are synced when you choose to sign in.
